MARCOLIN AND HARLEY DAVIDSON EXTEND PARTNERSHIP THROUGH 2027 Marcolin and Harley- Davidson Motor Company announced the renewal of their licensing agreement for the design, manufacturing, and worldwide distribution of optical frames and sunglasses branded Harley- Davidson®. This new arrangement now includes the addition of Performance and Protective sunglasses designed for on- the-bike use. The relationship, started in 2013 following the Viva International acquisition by Marcolin, envisages a further six-year extension until December 31st, 2027. Besides the manufacturing of Harley-Davidson eyewear for men and women, the two companies will enter a new global product segment, with performance sunglasses and protective eyewear designed for motorcycle riders. NEWCAMPAIGN IN RECOGNITION OF GLAUCOMA AWARENESS MONTH Bausch + Lomb and Glaucoma Research Foundation (GRF), a national non-profit organization with the vision of curing glaucoma, announced the U.S. launch of “Screen, Protect, Cure,” a campaign designed to provide educational resources and raise awareness of glaucoma, a leading cause of irreversible blindness, during Glaucoma Awareness Month. “We are proud to collaborate with Glaucoma Research Foundation to provide critical information about this serious eye disease and underline the negative toll it can have if left untreated,” said Christina Ackermann, president, Ophthalmic Pharmaceuticals, Bausch + Lomb. During January, Bausch + Lomb and GRF shared educational resources to educate individuals who may be at risk for glaucoma and empower them to take an informed and active role in their eye health. . The deal included an automatic renewal option of five years and the first collection would be available from September, 2023. Francesco Milleri, chairman and CEO of Essilor-Luxottica, said: ‘We are excited to embark on this journey with Swarovski, a brand known for its artful design and incredible attention to detail.
