ARHLO UNVEILS A NEWCHAPTER IN BRITISH EYEWEAR British eyewear brand ARHLO is unveiling a new identity and expanded collection at SILMO Paris 2026, marking one of its most significant launches to date. Developed by Eyespace, the collection brings together 18 optical models across 52 SKUs and a new sunwear range of 12 styles across 36 SKUs. Drawing on British music, fashion and cultural heritage, the designs feature bespoke hinges, patterned core wires and tartan-inspired detailing. The collection also incorporates bio-based acetate, recycled stainless steel and lenses containing 50 per cent recycled content. With its new campaign, packaging and retail experience, ARHLO is positioning British identity and contemporary design at the centre of its international expansion. VISION EXPRESS INDIA INTRODUCES 3D VIRTUAL TRY-ON Vision Express India has introduced a 3D virtual try- on experience through a partnership with retail technology company Fynd and its GlamAR platform. More than 1,000 eyewear styles have been converted from existing 2D product assets into 3D models, allowing customers to virtually explore frames through the retailer’s website. The experience has already recorded more than 3,900 virtual try-on interactions, offering insight into how consumers engage with digital eyewear discovery. The initiative highlights the growing role of augmented reality, 3D visualisation and immersive commerce in India’s optical retail sector, as brands explore new ways to connect online shopping with eyewear selection. MARCOLIN AND MARCHON RESHAPE GLOBAL LEADERSHIP Marcolin and Marchon Eyewear are reshaping their leadership structure as the two companies move towards full unification under VSP Vision in early 2027. The new organisation includes Ross Brownlee as President, Eyewear EMEA & APAC and Marco D’Acunzo as President, Eyewear Americas. Lorenzo Barberio has been appointed Managing Director, APAC, while Antonio Castiglione will lead LATAM. The changes are designed to strengthen regional coordination and align operations across international markets. The restructuring marks another step in bringing the two established eyewear organisations closer together while maintaining their relationships with global brands, customers and retail partners worldwide across key markets globally. 77 VISION PLUS INDIA EDITION
