T he 37th China International Optics Fair (CIOF 2026) officially opened on September 8 at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing, bringing together eyewear brands, optical businesses, buyers and professionals from China and around the world. Held under the guidance of the China National Light Industry Council, the three-day event features more than 600 exhibitors and over 1,500 global brands across 55,000 square metres. The showcase spans frames, lenses, contact lenses, smart eyewear, myopia prevention, vision training, eye health, manufacturing equipment and fitting instruments. International participation remains a key part of the fair, with the International Pavilion bringing together 90 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, representing 183 international brands. Established names including Marchon, Marcolin, STEPPER, Safilo and Silhouette are presenting their latest offerings, alongside debut exhibitors such as Nano Vista, Rupp+Hubrach, GLANCE Optical, Megane Ichiba and Skywings. Technology and eye health are also prominent themes, with dedicated areas exploring smart eyewear, AI, audio interaction, display technologies, myopia prevention and personalised vision solutions.
