EMMA CHAMBERLAIN DESIGNS PERSONAL WARBY COLLECTION At just 23, Emma Chamberlain continues to expand her entrepreneurial horizons. The influencer- turned-business mogul, renowned for Chamberlain Coffee and her award- winning podcast, has now added eyewear designer to her résumé. This new EC x Warby Parker collection, marks her second collaboration with the iconic eyewear brand. The collection’s frames—Emma, Frances, Johnny, and Patty—carry sentimental significance, each named after members of Chamberlain’s family. Emma and Patty feature sleek rectangular shapes, while Johnny stands out with a bold, oversized silhouette. LVMH ACQUIRES STAKE IN MYKITA EYEWEAR Luxury powerhouse LVMH has taken a minority stake in Berlin-based eyewear brand Mykita through its eyewear manufacturing arm, Thelios. Although the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, both companies emphasised that Mykita will maintain full control over its strategic and creative direction. “This investment strengthens Mykita’s position as a global leader in design and manufacturing,” the brands shared in a joint statement. “Mykita’s unconventional approach and commitment to design excellence will continue driving innovation and redefining eyewear’s future.” In 2022, Mykita became the first eyewear brand to fully transition to Acetate Renew, a sustainable, bio- based material, and now incorporates over 90% recycled steel in its stainless steel frames. BELLA HADID DAZZLES IN SAINT LAURENT F/W EYEWEAR Saint Laurent’s Fall-Winter 2024 eyewear campaign, led by the ever-iconic Bella Hadid, captures the essence of modern sophistication. Under the visionary direction of Anthony Vaccarello, the campaign reimagines the Maison’s timeless codes with a contemporary edge. Bella Hadid, joined by Rosé and other personalities, takes centre stage, showcasing a striking range of eyewear. The collection features round acetate frames and squared combi designs, all accentuated with Saint Laurent’s signature corner angle details.
