A GLOBAL GATHERING FOR SHARED SUCCESS For the first time, the HOYA Vision Care Town Hall was opened to customers, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas between employees and clients. HOYA Vision Care’s dedication to innovation was a focal point, with Kozu Kazuma, General Manager of R&D, showcasing advancements in precision technology, and Alexandra Roos, Global Director of the Pediatric Program, emphasising solutions for myopia. Khun Thipparat Onpaen, President of HOYA Lens Thailand, reflected on the evolution of personalised lens solutions through automation and innovation. INSIGHTFUL KEYNOTES AND PANELS An impressive lineup of speakers addressed critical topics, including health accessibility, sustainability, and innovation. Highlights included: • Hassan Damluji delivered a keynote on "The Role of Companies in Securing CEO Alexandre Montague emphasised HOYA’s commitment to innovation and collaboration: “We’re celebrating not just 50 years of HOYA Lens Thailand but also the relationships that have fueled our success.” CFO Ian Wells shared impressive financial updates, including strong Q2 growth driven by sustained demand in IT sectors and strategic products like MiYoSmart and Photochromic lenses. Despite challenges, HOYA’s resilience in Lifecare and sustainability efforts were underscored. Health for All," followed by a panel with global experts including Andreas Mueller (WHO advisor) and Cecile Clavier (Head of Pediatric Business Unit, HOYA). • Karen Hamilton , former VP of Global Sustainability at Unilever, led discussions on sustainable business practices and innovation. • Jon Goldstone explored purpose-driven growth beyond pricing in a panel featuring HOYA leaders like Oxana Pastushenko and Ian Wells. HONOURING A LEGACY OF INNOVATION The event concluded with a memorable evening celebrating HOYA’s employees, who have been with the company for over a decade on average. HOYA Lens Thailand by the Numbers: • 50 years of innovation and excellence. • Over 50 million lenses are crafted annually, improving lives worldwide. • 500 visionaries gathered to celebrate this milestone. KEY HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE TOWN HALL: CMO Oxana Pastushenko highlighted HOYA’s myopia management achievements, improving the lives of 2.7 million children globally, and called for a collective effort to tackle myopia prevention. CSO Marius de Beer outlined sustainability initiatives, from reducing CO₂ emissions by 15% since FY21 to supporting ORBIS in screening over 570,000 children worldwide.
