PMD Modulo ONE eliminates the drastic time gap between surfacing and quality inspection of current productions. Right after polishing, it evaluates the lenses with high resolution, utilizing deflectometrical measurement in reflection. It measures the full lens map, including diopters, cylinder, and prism without touching the lens. The smart Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered system acts as an early warning mechanism, recognizing trends and picking up anomalies that may indicate systemic problems very early on. This way, it makes effective troubleshooting possible while still within tolerance – before breakage is produced. Thanks to its very high throughput, labs may opt to implement PMD Modulo ONE to measure every lens produced or as a statistical check.
